Macropod Workshop 13th September 2009
FNQ Wildlife Rescue holds regular wildlife
workshops for members. The snapshots below are from a macropod
workshop that was held for beginner carers. We had over 20
participants who all learnt the basics of caring for our little
orphans. There were even a few Joeys on hand to provide
participants with some valuable hands on experience.
Smithfield Fiesta 5th July 2009
FNQ Wildlife Rescue recently held a fund raising
display at the Smithfield Fiesta. Whilst we didn't manage to
raise much in the way of funds, it was a great opportunity to
promote FNQ Wildlife Rescue and the work done by our dedicated
volunteers. Thanks to our

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle 6th June 2009
FNQ Wildlife Rescue recently held a
sausage sizzle at Bunnings in Cairns. A big thanks goes to our
fund raising volunteers -

- Florian (an exchange student from France
who was introduced to the art of sausage sizzles!)
Through the efforts of these dedicated people,
almost $700 was raised for FNQ Wildlife Rescue.
