Member - Nickie Roach Nickie
is one of our Atherton
Tablelands members and looks
after a variety of species. She
comments that one of her most
favourite charges was Hughie the
Wallaroo. Wallaroo's are famous
for having their own VERY
individual personalities! |

Member - Jane Cook Jane
recently took in two orphaned
kookaburra nestlings after their
tree was cut down. Jane is a
very experienced bird carer and
has been doing a fantastic job
for years, She was nominated as
FNQWR's "Carer of the Year" for
2008. |
